I find the "need only" a bit odd. We need to do a whole lot of things to
address gender representation in the IETF nomcom.

I am a bit considered that the selected member could be tweaked by
discouraging eligble non-male candidates to volunteer. Do we have
any statistics on the past candidate pools to indicate there would
be at least several non-male candidates in the pool ?

Then again, even if that concern, I still think change is okay, and
misuse would still only result in a tiny mindshare change in the nomcom.
