Thanks! It's something that I feel is important to work on. I think that the IETF tends to have people learn to be WG chairs by what I call the "apprenticeship" method. New WG chairs are paired with an experienced one and picks up what to do and how things are done based on what they've seen while participating in the IETF. On top of that, at least in Routing, we have a number of WG groups and their chairs that have been WG Chairs for a long time. It can be useful to discuss what's taken for granted - particularly as process changes or new ideas need to be emphasized. It may not be apparent from the recordings, but we also have unrecorded time to allow for frank conversation and that is sometimes quite useful for discussing specific examples. I would be quite happy for these to get more and wider viewing and to be useful beyond the initial presentation. That said, I do feel like part of the benefit of these is to enable conversations and strengthen relationships between the WG Chairs so that they can get support and advice from more people. I'm intending to come to the EDUNEXT BoF at IETF 93 and am happy to talk more about ideas. Regards, Alia
