At AFRINIC, we’re tackling this challenge with what we call U-Connect program. Here’s how it works.

A university professor applies and if we accept them, we create a cohort for them afrinic.academy (do check it out, got some really good IPv6 courses free of charge)

We follow up with live weekly Q&A sessions or labs via Zoom.

At the end, the students can opt to take and pass the IPv6 Forum certification through certi6.io

We’ve done about 5 universities and 400 students for the first round. Looking to scale this next year.
