The LLC does not intend to cancel other than for a force majeure event and the IESG are aiming to make a final decision next week on the viability with the projected numbers.

So far the numbers are

	• 234 onsite registrations, 528 remote, 762 total
	• 112 out of 157 issued fee waivers used
	• Hackathon: 81 onsite, 21 remote

If the registrations continue to grow proportionately then we would see ~400 onsite registrations, but if we have a bunch of people holding off before booking then we could reach 500 under the right conditions.

The good news that may encourage people to book, as others have already noted, is that the rules in Austria change from 5 March. We are hoping to hear early next week how those changes will affect our meeting and will share that information when we have it.

kind regards
Jay
