Yes, UDP/IP encapsulation of Broadcast RID messages, over media other than
Bluetooth, is an attractive possibility, which goes beyond but does not
conflict with ASTM F3411.

Also, UDP/IP, TCP/IP, HTTPS/TCP/IP, etc. encapsulations of Broadcast RID
message structures (not merely data dictionary elements) as a means of
transporting Network RID, comprise another attractive possibility, which
probably conflicts with the initial ASTM F3411-19 version but there will be
future revisions that we may be able to influence.
