As complementary suggestion for both "regular" rooms and the X seating in
Pete's U-shape...  Can we have enough space between rows, and enough space
between chairs so that people can get through.  Generally, if we have a room
that seats 300, it will be "full" with 100 people because so many chairs are
effectively blocked.

So let's just put fewer chairs in the room, and have a stacks of extra chairs
in the corner and/or in the hallway.
