I'm in Salon A and the thermometer on my backpack indicates that it's
78 F in the room. The standard for most offices in the US is often
72 F. I have never been to a meeting in a US hotel where the meeting
rooms weren't chilly. However, when the IETF meeting rooms are full
they often get quite warm - too warm for my personal preference.

I have noticed that the temperature varies depending upon where you
sit in a room. So, maybe people should wander the room before
selecting a seat and find a warmer spot. Like I said, we debate this
every meeting. Everyone should plan for it to be chilly in the
meeting rooms and plan accordingly, in particular in the southern part
of the US where we like our A/C as we spend most of our time with
higher temps outside. I will note that I personally find it way too
warm in most hotels in the Northern US and Europe in the winter.
