[MB] A pashmina is incredibly light, compact and warm (and stylish). [/MB]

[MB] You might consider buying something that is warm yet less bulky
than a sweatshirt or using two thinner layers as opposed to a single
bulky layer like a sweatshirt. I *always* dress in layers when
traveling where I know the temps are variable. Lots of manufacturers
that make products for campers/hikers have a broad range of clothing
that will keep you warm and dry, yet it is compact. [/MB]
