In the context of mobile, mobile telcos present each new generation of
mobile technology as some sort of revolution. The best way to connect
to the internet.

It may help if infuential parties explictly call out issues with mobile
deployment. I.e., if the automotive industry would say, 5G is nice but
we can't number networks in a car so we need something else.

The trent seems to be, something doesn't work with mobile so we need to
go to the IETF to make a change to internet standards. 

That said, I would would be happy to get any kind of IPv6 on my phone
at all.
