No technical arguments, AFAICR, but user-friendliness and acceptance are
desirable criteria.

I should note that this has already been discussed ad-nauseum on the
Homenet WG list and in WG sessions.  The WG consensus was to apply via
RFC 6761 process for ".homenet", but then the insecure delegation point
was raised.
