Hi,

I'm an open source VoIP developer, and I wholeheartedly support this
proposal. Standardization of not only protocols, but also the data they
carry, is essential for moving forward in VoIP interoperability and
innovation. Since there are multiple talented groups contributing, all
of which have stated they are excited to do this work and which have
already created codecs that are in wide use, means there is the
potential to create something much better than what exists today. That
such a work should happen in the IETF, where anyone may contribute their
expertiese and hours is a tremendous benefit, as it allows those who
deal with audio technology on a hobby basis to contribute.

Best Regards,
Thorvald Natvig
