Yes, I think that, at least in American English usage, "disposal" tends to
have a bit of a pejorative connotation.  Consider that in the context of
people who have to deal with truckloads of UCE and other bulk email and the
negative association becomes even stronger.

+1 to adjusting the terminology to be less biased.
