The authors think that all your points are in fact dealt with in the
text. You may not agree with the way they are dealt with, but we believe
that we have made it clear that the proposed mechanism is an optional
addition to other mechanisms and that it is adequately secure. Whether
it gets implemented and deployed is, as for every proposed extension,
outside our control.
