Well, given you are replying to a thread that has “you have running 
code” in the Subject, check your math*s* please.  You have 1 OS with 
an implementation already (both router and basic host side).  If this 
draft moves forward I’ll make sure the “basic” can be removed from 
that sentence as well.  It’s about 50 LoC.  Double it and dhclient no 
longer tries to run either and I’ll have RX side filters as well as 
well as IPv4 configuration being degraded to run after IPv6.  That’s 
about the end of the story.  Can be implemented and tested in a few 
hours.  Sample code exists.
