I actually believe that G.722 warrants an RFC 2119 MUST, but this was voted
against with the main reason (at least from my point of view) being desire
to promote OPUS. I do agree that webrtc should express its preference for
OPUS, but I do not see what valid reasons or circumstances can exist that
will prevent G.722 implementation. I think that interoperability is a valid
enough reason that G.722 support should be required.
