Why would it matter if it's a mobile BP or a printed one?  Wouldn't 
any sort of BP allow one to head straight to immigration (assuming no 
checked luggage)?

United mailed me my BPs, and they say on them "Verify US Passport" 
but I assume that's for the gate staff, and that the BP grants me 
access to US immigration, customs and security.
