Hello Toerless,
The consulate, actually. I called them yesterday and they were like "Type-B!". Then, after some research, I wrote a mail asking them again (citing businesseventsthailand and the Helsinki embassy) which lead to a rather shroff response of "we already told you that you need a type b".

How does Amsterdam (Thai embassy ?) "insist" that you need a Type-B visa ?
E.g.: what exactly did they tell you ? Just the usual "if you do business you need a busienss visa" that Jake mentioned ?
