Dear Keith,

Could you make perhaps make a list or even and Internet-Draft of the 'difficult/important/central issues' you would like to discuss so we can open a separate thread and work on those? Others can then continue this work. 

We can do both things in parallel so we don't waste any time and make a lot of progress on an issue we clearly all care very much about.
