Thanks for doing this.  The above statement sums it up pretty well.

My suggestion is that we go ahead with the work with the charter verbatim.  There are a few people who would prefer to be obstructionist here, but our process recognizes the possibility of unresolved dissent and allows us to make resolutions over concerns that have been heard.  Clearly people disagree on this topic, but their position has been addressed, if not to their personal satisfaction.  Escalating volume and stridency won't change that.
