Thanks for the clarification, Wes. Would certainly be interesting to
have these signs during general reception as an experiment and see what
happens.

Well. We do honor the work of IESG, NomCom and other bodies with more
and better food than attendees already if i am not mistaken. To me,
any of this is fine as long as its transparent. The community can then
always chime in when it doesn't like something.

I have no opinions about Chris` drinks proposal except that i was
trying to figure out the intended consequences. How are drinks/reception
paid for anyhow ? Part of the mandatory all-in-one package from the
hotel that the IETF has to buy or charged separately ? If its unavoidable
'free' drinks, why waste them...
