Yes, Jose, thank you for starting this discussion.

I can't say I was insulted or humiliated, though. If I was, my blood
pressure would go though the roof every other time I saw a magazine cover,
billboard ad, or TV show. Let's face reality, sex-driven advertising is
all around us. Just like ugly architecture. Except in Prague, of course.
:-)

But I was very disappointed to see that at IETF. This was my third
in-person IETF meeting. I was nervous at my first, because I had read
accounts of rampant sexism at other tech conferences, especially
game-oriented ones. But I was very pleased when I saw absolutely nothing
like that at IETF.

And I am disappointed (although not surprised) that it worked on a lot of
the guys.
