If we're not writing a BCP, we don't need to do it that way, even though it's
factually true. We can simply say things like

NPTv6 is an experimental technology and network address translation for
IPv6 has not been defined by the IETF. Therefore, they do not have a role
to play in general-purpose Internet connectivity.

Outside our little world, the effect is much the same.
