I don't know about you but for me there simply isn't enough time
during IETF week to have all the meetings I need to have in order to
make progress.  There is so much going on right on.

There are text-based tools as well.  Real-time text generally favors
people who type fast in the language of the meeting, so they can't be
used all the time.  (btw I'm not talking about jabber, which is just
free form talk.)

The kind of reviews you want are the ones from well-informed,
deep-thinking people.  They are in high demand (like you).  They don't
need credit, they need more time.  Review swapping might work.  I
suspect that making it _easier_ for them to contribute would be even
better.  These days, written comments need to be substantive in order
to be acceptable, and that takes time.
