I don’t think the hybrid meeting was the worst of both worlds, that would have been no meeting at all.

I didn’t travel to this meeting for several reasons, so instead I got to join in three 2am sessions.   I can't say it was fun, but it did work.   Had I been on site, I would have attended more sessions and had lots of side meetings, but that doesn’t work well given the time the meeting was for me (2am to 8:30am).

I hope to travel to future meetings, but at least for now I think it’s going to be a while before we get back to the attendance that the IETF used to have onsite.

I thought the hybrid meeting worked well.   I actually liked the single queue for local and remote participants.  I think it worked pretty well (except for some people having trouble getting into the queue with the mobile meetecho app).   I suspect this will get better next time.
