Hi,

Perhaps you can clarify something.

So, paraphrasing, originally the RSOC recommendation was to extend the contract, and during that period place it out to bid to refine the process.

My logic suggests that the RSOC (& IAB) believes that process needs refining before running the big "for real". 

Now you (we, the IETF) don't have that option. How are you going to refine the process prior to issuing the RFP? What community oversight and engagement will you be providing?
