I was trying to figure out how to respond to Alissa’s comment and John’s response expresses what my reaction was - I also found it “offensive”

Mike has been making good points that some people in the IETF related bodies that were involved in Heather deciding that the very good work 
she was doing for the IETF community was not worth the BS she was getting do not want to internalize - 

Mike should be listened to rather than having the specific (benign) words he uses being over analyzed
