IPv4 works for most enterprises today and they don’t see a need (aka business case) to do anything different. The Enterprises who are thinking about moving to IPv6 are very large enterprises who can’t live within the limits of private IPv4 space.

A place to go where (commercial) enterprise executives meet is a Gartner conference. They meet virtually, as well as in many cities throughout the world. However, when discussing IPv6, be prepared for them to ask what you have to offer that will quickly improve their productivity. Some of them may have read articles such as Networking Hype Cycle 2021 by Andrew Lerner <https://blogs.gartner.com/andrew-lerner/2021/10/11/networking-hype-cycle-2021/?_ga=2.214948631.1699336899.1649137202-1453838395.1649137202&_gac=1.49562642.1649140440.EAIaIQobChMI9dzQ4Jr89gIVghB9Ch1nvgVZEAAYAyAAEgI_4vD_BwE> The featured graphic indicates that IPv6 is on the “slope of enlightenment,” expected to reach the “plateau of productivity” in 5-10 years.
