Also IMO it's quite clear that Nokia, having willfully voided their VP8 
license, would presumably file anything to block VP8 from becoming part 
of any standard they are interested in.  These "will not license" 
declarations are mandatory byproducts of tactics employed by some 
parties in the mobile platform wars (and I'm not merely looking at Nokia 
here).

This, of course, changes nothing regarding the fact that these 
declarations exist. However, for me, this impacts the credibility of 
said claims.
