Hubs that feed the major Canadian airports that are not in the US might also have such restrictions.

How about we just gradually disqualify all possible venues and hold future meetings via jabber only just so everyone can avoid all possible inconveniences and restrictions?  Oh crap, I forgot time zones!

However for many people two of those four require getting a transit VISA for the US, in addition to any VISA required to enter Canada...
