before i dumped the ibm lameframe world and went to the minis in the
second half of the '60s, i did not realize how blindered i had been.

those of us who live outside the united states and read this mailing
list are far from shocked by the we-are-the-world attitude, as we watch
it demonstrated with drones and bombs.
